Biomedal, S.L., is a biotechnology company founded in the year 2000. Our mission is to develop and commercialize new technologies, services and products for research and diagnostics. Our iVYDAL division is focused on in-vitro-diagnostics products and solutions for celiac disease diagnosis and gluten free diet monitoring and has launched the first kits on the market to directly monitor gluten free diet adherence.

The iVYDAL in-vitro-diagnostics kits are based on the ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay (LFI) technologies. The products are CE marked, clinically validated and known by the main KOLs in the field of celiac disease. The LFI product has being launched for the domestic market with the name GlutenDetect, providing celiac patients with the first tool to detect inadvertent gluten intake at home. Additionally, we have launched CeliacDetect for home use that detects the presence of anti-tissue tranglutaminase (anti-tTG) IgA antibodies in blood samples. The kit is intended as an aid in the diagnosis of celiac disease.
